“In 2008, my 5 yo daughter, Ella was diagnosed with a large Pilocytic Pilomyxoid Astrocytoma in her brain stem…. Ella's surgeon in Melbourne labelled her tumour as inoperable and said that it would respond best to chemotherapy. Dr Y, head of neurosurgery at the RCH concurred with Dr X’s assessment. So, Ella began chemotherapy.
Within 24 hours post her first chemotherapy treatment, Ella lost the ability to walk. Then, 30 days later she had her second chemotherapy treatment and Ella lost the function of her right side completely….

“Two neurosurgeons here in Adelaide stated straight out “THE TUMOUR IS INOPERABLE NOT GROWING AND WILL NOT KILL HER”. After a couple of years of suffering we decided to go and see Charlie. One of the Surgeons got out of his seat at his desk and walked around the room like a Zombie and said, “this is what your daughter will be like going to that cowboy”. This upset us quite a bit.
